Worked on my 2.2 diesel which had discharged due to low temperatures and lack of use. Although the instructions say charge for 24 hours before first use, mine arrived nearly fully charged, and only needed an hour. No problem connecting to the mains to do this. As my use of the car for long trips has declined - more short runs these days. I thought that a unit of this type could be an asset. First use proved to be for a visitor to the house and success achieved. Since that time have needed to use the unit once myself. No problem using and much more convenient than the wait of 60 minutes or so for roadside or home assistance. |
