D.I.Y. MAN Big John,
19 July 2009 This review is from: Draper 40765 18-Volt 2-Speed Cordless Hammer Drill (DIY & Tools)
Draper 40765 this 18v cordless drill was puchased for my birthday. I currently own 5 other cordless drill's all quality makes. This draper cordless drill beats the pants off all the others for price and durability. You can leave it in the van for a month and the n.c. batteries, x 2 are still fully charged and ready for use. Why waste money on brand name? This is a real mans tool which I thoughly recomend.
Best wishes to all you D.I.Yer's Big John.

Draper,
10 Dec 2010 This review is from: Draper 40765 18-Volt 2-Speed Cordless Hammer Drill (DIY & Tools)
Item was delivered quickly and looked good. The batteries needed charging as they had been discharged by the manufacturer. Took about 5 hours to charge. I have used them on varying jobs and can safely say it was very good for light work. It is a fairly light weight and comfortable to use. The batteries ran down quite quickly when doing heavy drilling and in all honesty i had to get the sds drill out but i was drilling into solid concrete. All in all i am very pleased wit it.

Excellent value for money,
17 Jun 2010 This review is from: Draper 40765 18-Volt 2-Speed Cordless Hammer Drill (DIY & Tools)
Having read previous reviews regarding this drill I was more than happy to order one for myself. With the usual Amazon efficiency, the drill arrived within three days of ordering.
The drill is, considering its size, medium weight and is easy to use. The 18 volt battery gives it that extra umph when required and like other commentators have stated, the battery charge lasts a long time.
The drill comes in a carrying case, battery charger and a spare battery plus some drills and screwdriver bits.
This is value for money. Someone mentioned that the bit in the chuck can get loose. Hasn't happened to me yet, but from what I recal this chap was drilling into either a brick or stone wall.
Need an all round screw-driver; two speed cordless 18v hammer drill? The Draper 40765 is the one for you.
